ChatGPT right questions

Updated: Jul 2

ChatGPT is a chatbot and virtual assistant developed by OpenAI and launched on November 30, 2022. Based on large language models (LLMs), it enables users to refine and steer a conversation towards a desired length, format, style, level of detail, and language.

Some of the questions you can find on the OpenAI ChatGPT page:

  1. Create a morning routing to boost my productivity

  2. Write a Python script to automate sending daily email reports

  3. Help me pick an outfit that will look good on camera

  4. Plan a mental health day to help me relax

  5. Plan a trip to experience Seoul like a local

But if you want to get anywhere with ChatGPT, its all about asking the right questions. There are all kinds of ways in which you can ask your question that in turn the AI Assistant will try to respond with the best answer possible based on the parameters given.

For AI to work, it must be given the right CONTEXT (the whole).

For example, let's say I asked ChatGPT to describe someone called John?

And here is what ChatGPT will respond... Could you provide more context or details about John? There are many people named John, and describing him accurately would depend on which John you're referring to.

Now, if I say John is from the bible, here is what it gives me...

Ah, I understand now. In the context of the Bible, "John" typically refers to several significant figures:

  1. John the Baptist: He is a central figure in the New Testament who baptized Jesus Christ in the Jordan River.

  2. John the Apostle (also known as John the Evangelist): One of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and traditionally considered the author of the Gospel of John, three epistles (1 John, 2 John, 3 John), and the Book of Revelation.

  3. John Mark: Often referred to simply as Mark, he is believed to be the author of the Gospel of Mark and was a companion of the Apostle Paul and later of Peter.

Each of these Johns played a crucial role in the early Christian church and are significant figures in Christian history and theology.

I could have also been asking about "John is a place", e.g. St. John, John's Island, John Street etc..

How about Auto-Tagging? To be discussed in a later post.
